The heels clicked on the hardwood floor, and I wobbled a bit, trying to keep my balance. This felt so weird! My heart raced because I knew what had just happened. Usually, Mom's body felt like slipping into a comfy old hoodie, but tonight, with this tight outfit and the way my new curves filled it out, I felt all kinds of goofy. “Honey, I’m home!” Dad’s voice boomed through the house.
