After a spirited game night with my girlfriend, a harmless bet turned into a holiday challenge neither of us expected to take seriously. The stakes? Loser agrees to try the controversial "Swap Clinic," a cutting- edge but still experimental service that allows people to temporarily exchange bodies. It was supposed to be a joke-something to spice
ReplyDeleteup our relationship and make for an unforgettable New Year's Eve. When I lost, I reluctantly agreed, imagining it would be hilarious to spend a day or two in her shoes, literally. However, something went wrong at the clinic. Instead of swapping bodies with me, she was placed into the body of a tall, muscular stranger, a specimen who looked like he'd just stepped off a fitness magazine cover. At first, I thought it was a cruel joke by the clinic, or maybe an accident they'd quickly fix. But as the hours turned into days, I started noticing something peculiar. My girlfriend-now towering over me and packing biceps I never dreamed of—seemed... happier, more comfortable, even more confident in this new body. It felt like her body had a mind of its own, and that mind was very much attracted to the buff new her. As the days went by, I began to question everything: our relationship, my identity, my desires and what the clinic had really done. Was this truly a temporary swap, or was something more permanent at play? And why did I feel like this bizarre mix-up might
not be an accident after all?
